Bob Kohnstam

After graduating from the University of Houston’s Hilton School of Hotel & Restaurant Management in 1976, Bob began his career in the restaurant business with the national chain Victoria Station. While with Victoria Station, Bob has worked in Houston, Dallas, Austin, and New Orleans. Bob joined the Max Group in February of 2009 as General Manager at Max Amore.

Mark Conley

A native of West Hartford, CT, Mark spent 14 years in Manhattan honing his restaurant and hospitality skills.  While in Manhattan, Mark had tremendous opportunities to work with some of the best people in the business.  Among them were Michael Weinstein of Ark Restaurants, who currently owns Lutece, and the late great Artie Cutler who owned Docks Oyster Bar and Seafood Grill, Carmine’s, Virgil’s and Ollie’s.

Ted Burnett
Chef Edward Burnett, commonly referred to as Ted, joined the Max team in 1989.  His flexible nature has made him a great asset to the Max Restaurants and allowed him to develop his creative talent and management skills.
